THE MAIN STREET COFFEE EDITORIAL IN GREENWICH, RI | COLLABORATION PART 1

A few months ago, I had the pleasure of collaborating with an entire team of Connecticut wedding vendors who aside from Kelsey Christian, I had never worked with before. The inspiration behind the photoshoot was dreamt up by three lovely ladies: Kelsey from Kel C Photography, Justine from Justine KH Photography, and Loren from Loren M. Photography. Their attention to detail was impeccable and they put together a wonderfully curated vendor team. It's always a joy to work with new vendors and when I'm asked to collaborate, I rarely pass up the opportunity. Instead, I embrace the chance to work with new artists because it's helps grow my business immensely. Collaborations are great fun but they also are very empowering. A [collaboration] or joint venture is the process of working with someone to produce something. It's not an ideal that limits us artists but one that propels us personally and professionally. Some say that there is little in the photogenic world that is fresh or new but when we open our minds and create together the possibilities are endless. Dreams do come true! I flowered a dreamy-as-ever spring engagement editorial at The Main Street Coffee, in Greenwich, RI, which was filled with all kinds of sleek and modern designs. Meg and Josh were the PERFECT couple to photograph! From cappuccino lattes to French berets, there was nothing that wasn't thought of that day! The stunning all-white blooms, wispy florals, and fresh greenery made for a perfect scene and the best part was the two rode off into the sunset on a vintage bicycle [it was heavenly]! FYI these two are getting hitched this summer at the Pond House Café and I look forward to seeing the photographs posted of their wedding day! It's the little details that a make a styling shoot so unique, which is why I believe in the importance of collaborating. When it comes to spring editorials, flowers are often the star of the show but when it came to beauty, Meghan and Raechel's artistry was on another level! Meghan from @mcshairstyles and Raechel from @raechelface_beauty glammed up our models, giving them a STUNNING hair refresh and glow! I'm excited to share my favorite moments from this day starting with Part One at The Main Street Coffee café! Stay tuned for Part Two in another blog post featuring the Sand Dunes in West Greenwich, RI, coming soon!
