"LOVE IS IN THE AIR!" LE CHATEAU WEDDING IN SOUTH SALEM, NY | SARAH & MIKE
We kicked off our 2023 wedding season with Sarah and Mike's springtime wedding at Le Chateau in South Salem. Their elegant affair was filled with delicate blooms, a New York skyline view, and joyful guests who couldn't wait for the day's festivities! I've known Mike for many years, and when he told me he was getting married, I knew that his person was going to be sweet! After all, he fell in love with a beautiful girl and they are as cute and quirky as can be! There's something so special about spring weddings! From the abundance of flowers to the pastel colors to the gorgeous garden-inspired details; not to mention, it's a season of change. The weather grows warmer, the days get longer, and the elements come alive! I began the day with Sarah in the bridal suite. I could feel the love in the air and the anticipation as I entered the room with a box full of blooms. After slipping into her gown, Sarah and Mike met on the grounds for their first look and portrait photos. Sarah looked absolutely stunning and Mike looked equally dapper in his classic black suit! CLY by Matthew executed to a T, my favorite flower trend of 2023! Sarah's bridesmaids surrounded her with a flock of florals! Their bouquets created the most gorgeous frame around her face and it's one of my favorite wedding pictures I've received to date. If there's one thing to expect from this wedding, it's color. And, it was especially true when it came to the ceremony. Bright yellow and purple hues made their way into the arrangements. Sarah and Mike "WOWed" their guests with a voluptuous backdrop and they exchanged vows surrounded by tiers of flowers. When all was said and done they paraded up the aisle as husband and wife, laughing and dancing; together as one! Their guests enjoyed a lovely evening in Le Chateau's grand ballroom with tables adorned in vibrant florals. The design and detail filled every corner of the room from the crisp white table linens to the light up name sign. Congratulations Sarah and Mike! THE LOVE STORY
It was as if they were meant to meet. Though Sarah and Mike both went to Bryant University, they somehow never crossed paths. It wasn't until they both graduated that they were introduced to one another by their good friends, Veronica and Zane. They met on Long Island in the summer of 2018 and spent the entire time talking. Not long after, they went on their first date in Stamford, CT, where they spent another four straight hours, (you guessed it), talking!
While working in Fairfield County, they spent their early days dating, (sneaking in lunch dates) on breaks. Since then, Sarah and Mike adopted two furry friends named Riley and Roo, purchased a home, and moved to New Jersey together. They knew early on that their relationship was special. After three years of dating, getting to know each others families, and starting to plan a future, they could not be more excited to start the rest of their lives together!
