STEPHANIE & SCOTT

October 27, 2018

It was an absolute pleasure to work with Stephanie and Scott! We met in person for a consultation and discussed the floral preparations for their outdoor ceremony.

WEDDING DAY

The day of their wedding a storm blew in! The weather forecast called for high winds, torrential downpours, and coastal flooding. We moved to “Plan B” and relocated indoors.

Everyone was swooning over Stephanie’s sleeved sheath dress. She looked beautiful holding a loose bouquet of Anemones, Quicksand Roses, Lisianthus, Scabiosa, and white Majolica. Whispers of Blue Thistle, burgundy Hypericum Berry, Silver Brunia Berries, and True Blue Eucalyptus sprung from her bouquet! Scott wore a breathtaking boutonnière with Anemone and sprigs of Seeded Eucalyptus.

An emotional vow exchange ensured that there wasn’t a dry eye in the room! I’ve heard many vows in my lifetime but these were unlike any I’ve heard before! Their vows to each other were so heartfelt and pure.

RECEPTION

Stephanie and Scott had a farm-to-table reception. The lighting was dim and the atmosphere was warm. The tables were adorned with swing top glass bottles and clear antique vases filled with tinges of Blushing Bride Protea and Wax Flower. A garland of Italian Ruscus, Camellia leaves, and Lemon Leaf draped over the wood-burning fireplace. The focal point of the room was a vintage Irish Scrubbed Pine Hutch filled with baked goods from scratch—decorated in Podocarpus evergreens and lush blooms.

The couple embraced the rain and I am happy to report that it did not ruin their day!

Love,
Loreta Daka Carrero
