HELLO, I'M LORETA
I fell in love with flowers at a young age—growing up in Croatia, exploring the meadows with Mother, running through Father’s garden, soaking in the beauty of nature, picking wheat, grasses, persimmon and figs off the trees; there was nothing I loved more than to gaze at the blossoms that grew on mountainsides overlooking the Adriatic sea.
I found my passion . . .
Croatia is where I became one with nature. My father is an avid gardener. As a child, I could stare and watch him for hours. Everything he touched; bloomed. I was drawn to all the little things that grew.
THIRTY YEARS LATER
I learned the floral industry tricks of the trade while working in several shops around Fairfield County. I was taught how to cut, treat, cultivate, prepare, and preserve flowers. I was given the opportunity to manage a floral department, while raising two small children and attending business school.
Three years later, I found myself in New York where I was introduced to my favorite—Dutch flowers. I enjoyed working there but had other ambitions in mind. I set out to pursue a business and left the city life behind.
In 2016, God opened a door and Loreta Daka Floral Boutique LLC, was born. With my husband William by my side, we continue to chase my dreams, all the while making yours come true too! My goal is to make my clients happy and for them to love flowers as much as I do.
I avoid products that contain harsh chemicals, dyes, and irritants. Instead, I use organic and natural products that are safe and friendly to our environment. I am committed to bringing your floral ideas to life and to ensure customer satisfaction. My flowers are handpicked from beginning to end and my suppliers are located worldwide.
A SPECIAL THANKS
To those that I've had the pleasure of working with over the years, I couldn't have done this without you. I am grateful for the knowledge and wisdom that was bestowed upon me and I am blessed for the experiences I've had and the friends I've made throughout this incredible journey.
